We can't get rid of lambert as takeover is not sealed yet. We would be in the shit if we got rid of him before takeover was sealed, what if takeover collapsed late on and we were manager less? Chaos

Why on earth would he (or any other manager for that matter) hang around waiting for the inevitable chop when a new owner takes over ?

He could waste all summer with us instead of be out there looking for a job why plenty are going to on offer. Sounds daft to me

Compensation?

Managers never really resign these days.

If I were Lambert, the only circumstances I'd resign would be if I received an offer I couldn't refuse, maybe Celtic if Lennon goes.  Other than that why leave? I know I wouldn't.

And Dan Pallet is??

BBC. Either WM or Midlands Today.

His delivery is always wooden.

Yeah sounds like he fell off the back of a lorry

To those who are hitting the doom & gloom button just because Radio WM or BBC saying that there's no buyer, would you really believe the club, Lerner etc. saying that there is even though they'd be negotiating or finishing the sale?

You do not announce anything like that in transactions like that, the seller and especially the buyer will want to keep this as much as secret as possible until they are ready to announce the sale/buy.

Also another thing I'd like to point, english media is as reliable as those self-proclaimed ITK Gods, and they get things wrong most of the time. BBC is probably most trustworthy but they print what the official sources tells them, and I'd expect the club to lie through their teeth until the deal is done & dusted.

Can we change the poll listing the different stages or change of ownership e.g. No interested buyer to final details being ironed out.  Would be interesting to see opinion after all the initial bullshit and all the subsequant news.

Times on our side. Lerner didn't take over until mid August and Oneill didn't until start of August.
Still think this will be all done by July 1st
What stage do you think we are in regarding change of ownership?

No idea.if I was betting on it, I would say due diligence

I am betting on it
And don't think we even have a buyer lined up yet

I suspect we're nowhere near a sale and there probably isn't an interested buyer, I hope I'm wrong but I get that feeling.

It seems to me that from the miniscule amount of hard, verifiable evidence available, that this may well be true.

I used to play football with some of the BBC lads at Birmingham Uni about 10 years ago, and Dan was a good player.

The other one though, Steve Clamp, was absolutely the worst footballer I've ever seen. You couldn't try to be as ungainly, it would be physically impossible.

He's the one who does the sport on Central News isn't he?
