Times on our side. Lerner didn't take over until mid August and Oneill didn't until start of August.
Still think this will be all done by July 1st

What stage do you think we are in regarding change of ownership?

Just catching up with this, can't be bothered to read the rest of the thread.

So Dan Pallett is now the frontrunner with Steve Clamp as manager, is that right?

My take is that there's a buyer and the sale is agreed on principal but the legal stuff, drawing up the paperwork, due dilligence, fit & proper stuff will take about 4-6 weeks and Lambert will stay at least on that which would make sense.

Transactions this size takes time to complete even when it's been agreed to.

No idea.if I was betting on it, I would say due diligence

Do you think the F&P will be done in secret or would you think the oners would be known at that point?

This makes sense. We can't get rid of lambert as takeover is not sealed yet. We would be in the shit if we got rid of him before takeover was sealed, what if takeover collapsed late on and we were manager less? Chaos

We might as well go into the season with Lambert.  I cannot imagine a situation where this consortium/gazzillionaire would already have a manager/transfer targets etc etc already lined up.  Therefore I'd prefer that whoever they are comes in and assesses the situation properly rather than just throwing cash at the situation.   Don't get me wrong 'cash will need to be thrown' but FFP and any good owner would want to spend it efficiently.

Maybe, maybe not. Was there any rumours of Fulham being sold before it was announced?

Why on earth would he (or any other manager for that matter) hang around waiting for the inevitable chop when a new owner takes over ?

He could waste all summer with us instead of be out there looking for a job why plenty are going to on offer. Sounds daft to me

Compensation?

Managers never really resign these days.

I'd hang around for a couple of months for over a million quid.

I suspect we're nowhere near a sale and there probably isn't an interested buyer, I hope I'm wrong but I get that feeling.

Why would the club be on the open market for sale if there's a buyer ?
