Perhaps the statement might not come until after the end of season awards dinner....

That should be a fun night.

Golden Hands award to the player with the most foul throws for the season, Antonio Luna
OG of the season, Bowery, first and only goal for the club
Motto of the year, We go again
Bomb Squadder of the year, Shay Given, from Loan to senior coach in one fell swoop
And petulant goal celebration of the year - Weimann
Lack of defensive positional awareness award - Bacuna
Etc etc

To be fair the lack of positional awareness award is closely fought between Lowton, Bacuna, Luna, Baker and Clark. Should be exciting.

Positional awareness, running off the ball and having a fucking clue awards should all be well contested.

The Laughing Like An Idiot When You Do Something Shit Award: Gabby Agbonlahor.

I know he's far from our worse player, but I do think that a new regime coming in and shaking things up would gain credibility instantly by ditching Gabby. He's quite clearly untouchable, cruising along and producing the goods once every ten games.

He's the poster boy for our acceptance of lower expectations and standards.

the £130-£150m offer above is ludicrous when you consider the investment he has laid out on top of the original purchase price of £64m.  I'd say he would be looking at more like £200m.  No way will we be ever bought by rich people.  It's Villa we are talking about, it will be a consortium consisting of Brian Richardson,  the Bhatti Brothers, William Dugdale's nephew and Atholl Still.  With Mike Neville installed to replace Faulkner.
