Aston Villa. No statement tonight, 100% "within a week' .Have been asked o ask again firts thing, so maybe well within a week.
1m ago - Aston Villa

Stan asked the club. There you go. Lerner cant even manage to release a statement in a professional manner.

That tweet spelling issues aside is a bit contradictory.

Maybe then that's a sign that he can't rather than wont and he's just finalising a deal?

Possibly. I am afraid my first instinct now is to just assume Lerner couldn't be bothered to interrupt his weekend. Probably unfair but there you go.

?      Vlaar  Okore.  ?

?     Delph.   ?       Nzogbia

       Benteke.   ?

The rest can go. (Kids aside eg Grealish robbo)
This.

Just what has N'Zogbia done that Westwood hasn't?

That sort of negates the theory that the statement will be about putting the club up for sale, because if it was it would have been prepared and ready for circulation. This indicates that negotiations are ongoing but may take longer than originally thought, therefore a delay in the announcement

Or he will release the statement when he can be bothered and is enjoying his weekend and will tend to us when he sees fit?

Lerner has shown nothing but contempt for the supporters with his lack of communication. I get the impression he enjoys stringing the fans out. He'll leave people guessing for days I reckon.

On another note we've picked up £73m this season in Prize money and Tv cash compared to £45m last season.

I doubt that very much.

If you are keeping Nzog, then more players need to fill those positions as 6ish good games over two seasons is about on par with most others.

That should be a fun night.

As part of his acceptance speech, they'll ask him to stick his hands behind his back and back off from them, like he does all the time during matches.

Truly hopeless player. Achieved the unbelievable feat of being even worse than the truly hopeless Lambert purchase he replaced.
