If Oracles share price plummets tomorrow there could be some truth in this

Ellison spent millions on the Americas cup boat, I work closely with people at Oracle that reckon when he wants to win at something he stops at nothing until he does.  I'm not getting my hopes up it would be a dream.

Stan Collymore hinted something about Villa and Ellison on the radio about 15 minutes ago, he gave it the big introduction and practically a drum roll then said absolutely nothing.
Jesus.

Well at least we know who admin on TBAR is now.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear Lerner say that Lambert has done what has asked of him, now that the club are financially better of either he will release more funds, or he has found extra investment.

This is my guess too. An option 4 if you like.

Da Wiki!

I like his style.
The charity donations as well as suing the airport!

I hope it's him as he would be good for Villa.

He owns two military jets and his own island. Will a Bond villain pass the Premier League's "fit and proper" test?

I also think what you describe as Option 4 could well happen.

Richard Branson owns more than 2 jets and has an island.
Hmmmm

If either of them owns a cat, all deals are off.

An interesting option. Put a hold on the new contract talks, give him proper money, raise the expectations and see if Lambert can cut it. Set a top 8 finishing target or no new deal. Does Randy trust him enough with the money? Do we?

I hinted at option 4 earlier and at Turkish Airlines. I'm not ITK but they're a business throwing millions at the epl

How do people think extra investment will happen?

Stadium sponsorship is not going to bring in any significant amount of money.

Or if they think it is as an extra investor, how do they think that will work? Nobody is going to come in and invest millions and millions as a junior partner unless the other partner matches that investment proportionately. Which isn't going to happen.

Not sure about Lambert and money.   I would hope that the kicking he has had over the last month or so has not turned him into a transfer market tyre kicker like O'Neill.

If Randy sells up this summer I hope he is remembered fondly. He spent big, took a massive gamble, failed after being so close and then spent the next few years trying to repair the damage (and debt) and making us sellable. If he does't sell though I hope an eagle shits on him.

Larry Ellison isn't going to happen. I think we should manage expectations here and just say that is pie In the sky.

One thing I do wonder is if Lerner is staying, it's not inconceivable that the upturn in the global economy means he's in a much better financial situation again, something like he was when he took over Villa.
