Look, this whole cross site quarrel bollocks has to stop. I like too many people, from both ends of the spectrum, to start picking fights about football.

It's not exactly The Troubles, though, is it?

It's a handful of people bickering about two pretty inconsequential football forums. Some of the stuff is annoying, but I don't think for a nanosecond that anyone involved hasn't got other stuff to worry about - like real life stuff for example.

I don't think people are becoming riven by hate over it is what I am trying to say.

I've had a bit to do with admin and a few other posters over at TBAR and they are fine enough chaps in my view,
All apart from that Elagabalus bloke who is a total wanker, he gives the site a bad name

Can I just say as a form VillaTalk member and someone who has been reading the new TBAR forum that H&V is by far and away the best community on the internet for Villa fans. Dave, Legion and the like have always held my respect, even if we don't always agree.

I also think some of the posturing going on over there is a bit ridiculous. I'll admit that it's exciting the rumours that are being spread there but, I'm just hoping we're not being set up for a fall... I mean some posters on there are laying out their 3 year plans to winning the league!

Now don't get me wrong, the thought thrills me of being near the top again and watching quality football but the reality today is we're still  being managed by Paul Lambert and Yacouba Sylla wants out. I might cry.

Sylla should thank his lucky stars, morning, noon and night that he ever got the chance to play for a club like Villa at this level, he really should.

Especially with a poncey name like Sylla.   He has got away scot free with that ridiculous moniker for a football player.   For goodness sake this is the club who gave its legends like Stan Lynn, John Sleeuwenhoek and John Burridge the names "Vera", "Tulip" and "Budgie" respectively.

I've got to say, much like villa talk, I quite like TBAR. I think mainly because they are all onboard with the rumours and it offers a glimmer of hope that something better is coming...I've been worn down for so long by having no success that it's nice to have a bit of excitement again...like reading a tabloid paper if you like.After the initial furour dies down they will find their place in the online villa community....it's probably not worth the old boys club going to war over is it? Let's get back to supporting the club. UTV
