I am pals with people from both sides of the fence here and have no intention of falling out with anyone over something as daft as talking about fucking football on the internet.

The whole game of he said, she said and one upmanship is pretty silly.

I don't care who may or may not be more ITK, I don't care why people that used to post here may have fallen out with the Mods or who is right if they blame each other.

I feel a song coming on... All I really care about is AVFC!

You might to ask Stu (Eggy Bread or whatever he is called) to make a few changes though.

His entire profile is set up just to try and annoy DW. In fact 90% of his posts just slag Dave off.

There is history there like Israel and bloody Palestine possibly but Andy, in the interests of fostering better relations, I would think that is a good starting point.

Now come here and give me a big man hug whilst you eat your hat shaped cake!

Stu

Offering an olive branch whilst largely ignoring the things people have pointed out in response.

It's an olive branch too late though really. It's sad you have decided to go over there your a good poster, many of those gone we are genuinely grateful to lose, but the manner of the set up, the spamming of our members to get people over and the constant digs at this place are beyond the line. The sad fact is a number of banned people with agendas set up a place for the glorification of a couple of egos. The irony of your no egos bit is laughable. The fact members have even come back after months to get banned as a badge of honour says much. The admin himself came back with an obvious axe to grind last year so it's hardly a surprise.

By the way, I hope you got my hat cake reference from the days of Time Wasters and the C+B wedding. I was just trying to have a chat so don't want it to be me coming across as an arse if that is how it read.

On to bigger matters of importance, you ran a marathon? You crazy sod but very well done for getting a few quid in for charity.
The last time I ran 20 odd miles was when Basil's uncle was talking to me about his girlfriend!

Can I just say as a form VillaTalk member and someone who has been reading the new TBAR forum that H&V is by far and away the best community on the internet for Villa fans. Dave, Legion and the like have always held my respect, even if we don't always agree.

I also think some of the posturing going on over there is a bit ridiculous. I'll admit that it's exciting the rumours that are being spread there but, I'm just hoping we're not being set up for a fall... I mean some posters on there are laying out their 3 year plans to winning the league!

Now don't get me wrong, the thought thrills me of being near the top again and watching quality football but the reality today is we're still  being managed by Paul Lambert and Yacouba Sylla wants out. I might cry.

Somebody was lifting my posts and reposting them word for word in another place under a bogus name creating the impression that I was joining the campanologists. .   The small piece of that I object to is that I would rather write on a lavatory wall than be reproduced on a site named after a useless stupid song which only ever came within a Tonev shot of the fans because the Meaning Evil plugged it endlessly to get on Villa cup run bandwagons (we used to have them you know) and handed out printed song sheets with the puerile lyrics they had concocted.

You're right it's a terrible song with really amateurish lyrics. Never liked it.

Look, this whole cross site quarrel bollocks has to stop. I like too many people, from both ends of the spectrum, to start picking fights about football.

Can we just play nicely?
