These people coming on here, slagging Dave off and spreading gossip are adults right? Do they not have anything to worry about in real life? It's embarrassing.

True, but it works both ways though. There's people on here being silly as well.

The difference is, we are not going on there and being silly.

Was hard to be honest, never been in that much pain, worse bit was I got the train home (back to Hull) a hour and half after finishing... and of course it was full so couldn't stretch out. I can't wait to get back running to be honest missed it so much!!

I once took about an hour to get out of my car after getting back home from doing London - every time I moved an inch I got the most excrutiating cramp, felt as if I'd been shot

Know the feeling guys. I had to drive back from the West coast of NZ straight after running a marathon and had to keep stopping the car as my calves were cramping up. Well done to finish in that much pain evalast.

The problem with taking the attention grabbing route with all that "Admin will make a statement in ten minutes" palaver and then welcoming the new owners and naming them is you end up, the next day, having to perform a climb down like this.

Hello again,

Well it's certainly been an eventful 12 hours!

A couple of weeks ago I announced on this site that a takeover was in play. It was said that a deal was, in effect, signed sealed and delivered contingent on the teams Premiership status.

It now appears that the deal was agreed on in principal, drawn up and delivered...the signing to come once the team is mathematically safe from relegation.

I don't think anyone could have predicted that one of the other players could have put their cards on the table at this point and muddied the waters so spectacularly.

But it would appear that that is exactly what has happened.

I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for stating on here that Davis and Simpson were the new owners - they may still be - but this latest development threw a gold-plated spanner in the works that no one at the club expected at the 11th hour.

Still, the inside information coming to me is more exciting than ever and I promise I'll keep TBAR as up to date as I can - far further ahead of what you'll hear in the media or anywhere else. I'll give more concrete information when I have it.

These certainly are exciting times. Thank you all for visiting TBAR and for all your comments - good or bad.

I did a Snickers in 3 seconds once (not including chewing).

Not sure if that counts, since the whole 'Marathon' re-brand thing.

Are you ok Mr Peen, that didn't rhyme or mention poo?

I used to think that being ITK was the equivalent of laying your chips on red or black playing roulette, than congratulating yourself as a genius when the 50:50 chance came off.

It now appears being ITK is the equivalent of laying your chips on both red or black.

I quite enjoyed the banter with Ian B when he was on GM but i think he needs to wait until we are safe before relaying any information, i can just imagine the mental health lines being clogged with Villa supporters should we be relegated knowing that a trillionaire was waiting to take us over. Carnage.

As climb downs go, that's right up there.

All that 'an announcement in 10 minutes' nonsense is just embarrassingly sad.

Presumably the news can't be made public until the Leamington Spa Stock Exchange has been informed

The thing is he might have a small bit of information, but he has nothing that can't be deduced from what Randy said in his statement. It's fairly obvious we're up for sale, Randy has also indicated that there's something in the pipeline. However clearly nothing is 'signed' as yet, so I don't know why they're all fawning over the almighty Admin.

Randy's arrived in Birmingham. Here to interview Moyes?

I'm surprised he remembered how to get here.

maybe he wants to buy the nec.

Is it still N85DN?

I thought that was registered to the Cleveland Browns, or whoever they sub-lease from.

I've been back to see the doctor about my blood pressure this morning. Asked him to take into account the amazing result at the weekend and forthcoming takeover announcement. Seems even the excitement of securing a goalless draw against Southampton hasn't had any effect on my blood pressure.

Stay away from SSN and internet forums' Chris and, drink plenty of herbal tea.  Good to hear you're maintaining a steady flow.

And zero for good measure.

My betting is the new owners won't be The Kumars or Ken Wheldon or Terry Ramsden. Just a punt but you heard it here first.
