The only thing we need to hear from you Faulkner is that Lerner is spending money on the team.

I haven't even got the energy to respond to any of his useless diatribe anymore

I'm sure he's relieved to hear that.

Indeed, you could follow my good example..........please?

Are you admitting that your posts of late have been 'useless diatribes'?

And do what exactly - say that I don't want to say anything?

That would be lovely, thank you. Well volunteered and without me even suggesting it either. Much appreciated

If you don't want to read what I, or anyone else on here, has to say then there's an easy solution.

I understand why there is a call for unity from the club, we need three points and having the crowd against you doesn't help the cause. But it doesn't work like that with footballs fans. A few early attacks and the crowd will be up for it, twenty minutes in with nothing happening then mistakes and arsing about at the back and discontent surfaces.
The best time for a full scale football revolution is November/December. A load of crap results, bottom of the table with only the hard core fans still turning up. Turns your backs on the pitch and unfurl the banners. Get the new regime in just before Xmas, win five on the bounce with an exciting cup run thrown in. Happy days.

Having read Faulkner's "message"while at work, my first reaction was a bit puzzled as it wasn't clear who it was from, it was almost sinister as the lion statue normally denotes a club statement but  there was only the stating the obvious " we must all pull together " line.
Having now read it and seen the reaction from all of us ranging from a shrug of the shoulders to outrage you can only wonder at how badly we are run.
What a very sad state we are now in , we are falling apart at the seams and the cracks are started at the very top, it truly is enough to make you weep.

Translation: don't chant against the board, lack of ambition, player investment, style of play, lack of success and the Manager that we selected 'cos if you do we will lose and it will all be YOUR fault.
Yes. I wonder if he has reacted to Lambert's after match comments? However the blatant fact staring him in the face is that he has been responsible for 3 very poor appointments. Normally in business no CEO survives that sort of incompetence.

Having a couple of early shots and a couple of tough tackles will get the fans on side... that seems a million miles away at the moment.

Lambert should go but he was the overwhelming fans choice.  Harsh to blame Lambert on Faulkner as useless as he has been in other situations.

Trouble is ozzjim you can not make those excuses in business as they  like to call football now days. If 3 appointments result in bottom line deficit, in our case points and attendance, than it's incompetence.

Faulkner's message can be translated as "let's all try and get to the end of the season without being relegated and then there'll be some changes."

The worrying thought that I just can't shake is that, McLeish's last game at Norwich is the biggest reason he got the job, rather than based on any footballing philosophy, or ideas as to who would get the most out of the current squad.

I really think our board doesn't know what 'compelling play' is or would look like. They must think that getting excited once during a match is 'compelling'.

To be fair he wasn't Lerners first choice OGS was. Lambert would have always been on the list regardless of what happened at Norwich.
