Wet cold happy. 4 North Stand goals. Marvellous. Told you my new home shirt would bring us luck.
I bet you are soaked fella?

I'm soaked mate, tipping it down here. Purposely missed the last train back home to stay out and watch this. Recovering from pneumonia. But it's worth it when we win.

Oooh! Gabby should have probably done a bit better there! Good stuff though!

Gabby showing why he does not score enough goals.

Very good player now, but sorely needs to add to his goal tally. Should be getting 10-12 a season.

I am hoping that as they chase the game we can get a couple more, goal difference might be crucial by the end of the season.

This game shows exactly why I'm not willing to turn on Lambert or this team, when things click we've got a lot of quality here.  Benteke and Delph have been superb, Bacuna took his goal brilliantly and we're passing and moving exactly as I've been hoping we would.  We still have a few small problems, we're not getting hold of Hoolahan and Gabby and Weimann look short of confidence in front of goal but this is what we should've been seeing all season.

Welcome back.

Thank you, I was taught that if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all, so I've barely spoke about football for a few weeks, more importantly I'm a rugby boy at heart so this is a rare weekend in recent weeks where there hasn't been internationals or Heineken cup games to catch my attention away from poor performances.

Greg Nash was similar except he'd disappear if we'd won.

Yeah, we could do with a few more to counteract the shellacking we'll likely get at the Etihad.

My mate texting me say "you van relax now, you're safe!" Who is he kidding. After Liverpool away I thought we would set off on a good run but its been mainly dross since, i'm not going to be convinced by 45 mins of football. Again. But loving the score line so far.

He'll score today. He bloody deserves it based on his first half performance. He normally would have buried a header like that.

I see beards are this years tattoo sleeve.

We had a singer-songwriter night at my local pub last night. Loads of 20 something with beards.

A bit of consistency over a few games would be good, something we desperately need.
