Anyone going to continue to defend our idiot of a manager?

T
Anyone going to continue to defend our idiot of a manager?
That will come later, along with accusations of hysteria and bed-wetting.

Along with Secret Squirrel "I know something you don't" type posts.

You won't be getting any more of those from me. Look at any ITK on here. Most of it is slagged off anyway.

So we won't be getting any more cryptic posts that hint at ITK but actually say nothing? Phew ;)

Im Cardiff and Newcastle we've played two sides who had zero confidence on the back of several bad results and yet we failed to score in either. Dreadful and lambert should go.

Back in the day when I woke up on the day of a Villa game the day became somehow special.   Win lose or draw the game would be the highlight of the day.   This morning, just like it has been for the last four years the knowledge when I woke up that I had to endure more pain of the kind that game has just inflicted on us makes Villa match days horrible and dreadful days.

I just want something, anything about the Villa to lift my spirits yet the whole club from top to bottom from owner to board to manager to managers staff to players - all the lot of them - seem totally unwilling to light the smallest spark to lighten the gloom.

They are squeezing the very last drop of my love of football and my love of the Villa out of me with days like today.

If I sprayed this sentiment on the eyeballs of anybody at Villa Park it would be dismissed as the moaning of a miserable old git.   Give him a flag to shut him up.

I had V + 'd the match as was at my daughters birthday party so just finished watching. The sad thing was my eldest daughter had told us it wasn't a draw so it was horrendous sitting here knowing that Newcastle were going to score a last minute winner. What is it with our injuries ? Westwood was the best player by far and he goes off injured Why didn't he bring Marc on to run at them a bit. I think Lambert was playing for a draw. He's no better if not worse than Mcleish.

To be replaced by who? And please bear in mind the recruiters and their abject knwledge of football.

same here, it really is depressing. I don't understand how a team can be so bloody pathetic. Where is the fight?

No, you are spot on. Im younger than you and feel the same.

My wife asked me this morning whether i was looking forward to the game. My response was no as it would ruin the rest of the weekend. I was correct.

Watching some of the 70s football on the memories thread only adds to my apathy.

Rooneys latest contract also makes me wonder just how much shitter modern day footy will get

Norwich has become a massive match now. Which is shit.
We'll beat them.

What evidence do you base this on Tom?

It looks like we are approaching high tide and the happy clappers are being washed in.

Yawn. So if I say I do t think we're doomed, things might turn round and I don't think we should sack the manager I'm dismissed as a 'happy-clapper,' but if I disagree with you it means I will use buzzwords, say you're hysterical etc? I have done none of the above - we're allowed different opinions.

The buzzwords come much later usually but I don't think there are many sticking up for Lambert now so we should not see too much of that.

See that's it Brian, there's no enjoyment anymore. Every time Villa turn out now I expect to be embarrassed and I frequently am, following the team isn't a pleasure it's a real chore.

Didn't go today, wished I had though. You perhaps have to experience the games to understand the level of incompetence surrounding the club. It's not just on the pitch, although that is the most important of course, it's off the pitch as well with the two tier pricing system for its most loyal supporters, the away fans.

Anyway safe journey home to those on the way back.

I have no idea, but that's not my job. What I will say is that there are not many who could get us playing worse football or worse results.
