First half = Garbage

As predictable as taxes and death

Garbage? What game were you watching? It certainly was not garbage.

We were the better side by quite a way I think. We just need to hoof it slightly less and exploit our space in midfield and we'll get through.

I agree with that, and although I know this has been done to death, doesn't this game just show the desperate need we have for just even a hint of guile? Just one decent attacking midfieldr would have a field day agains this Newcastle team.

It's a bit incessant, though.

Do you really think that was garbage? We've seen plenty of garbage this season, and that didn't look like it, in my opinion.

Yes, it has been. It's funny because last year when he started to play really well, his touch was one of his best attributes.

You know what's weird about El Ahmadi? He's one of our best players at closing down space and closing down players, but one of the worst at actually making a tackle. The amount of times I'm sure he could just get his foot in and nick the ball....

That was terrible a minute ago. An easy ball played in to him, it bounced 5 yards off him and lost possession.

How many fouls does Tiote have to commit before he is booked?

I really think a side with a bit more finishing power than Villa would be comfortably ahead of this lot by now.
