So did Zoe. Both have shown greatness in Multi disciplines and whilst Pidcock probably will never be a GC in Tours, he will definitely be a contender in the one day classics and WC races. He can definitely hold the Rainbows on MTB, Road and CX at the same time in the coming years.

I can't understand why the BBC didn't show the Men's U23 race giving had British interest in it. I had to find it on YouTube.

Shows the aftermath of the crash. Alaphillippe can be seen at the base of the tree in the ditch with Bardet running to check on him. Pidcock reckons they were travelling at 70KM/h when the crash happened.

One of my favourite riders.  I hope he can get back to form.

Cavendish is in the squad for the Giro.  That probably means there's no place for him in the Tour de France.

I think he said he was unlikely to be in the TdF squad a month or so ago.

He was unlikely to be in the last years one and he was because of injuries to others. However competing in Giro does kind of rule it out now unless he leaves it early.

If he did get a slot and took Eddy’s record do we think that he’d be recognised as one of the true greats of the TdF in the way that Merckx is?

I think he already is across Europe, perhaps not in the UK.

Obviously not winning the whole thing would count against him in some peoples eyes, however the TDF is probably tougher for Sprinters then most riders as they have get up the same climbs as the GC's and have a time limit to do it in usually. So to complete the amount of wins he has and never finishing below 4th in points on the ones he completed is quite an achievement.

I would assume he already is. Of riders to have never won a yellow jersey he must be right up there, and even then there are likely plenty of one-time winners who don’t have the same overall impact.

I’ll repeat myself, yet again, the sprint on the CE where he shot out from behind Renshaw to burn off the rest to the extent that Renshaw could still sit up for second is the most astonishing sprint I have ever seen at Le Tour. Which is pretty good considering most of the other astonishing things (Landis, Armstrong, even Indurain blowing out Olano during an ITT) had either confirmations of suspicions of being fuelled by other means.

I don't do cycling as I'm not married but if I did I'd probably wear one of these.

Have no idea if they're any good.

That's a nice looking jersey, pair that with these shoes (of which I have a pair)
