I'd throw KEA into the midfield for this one but I can't decide if i'd play Weimann or Albrighton.

Good feeling on this one, think we'll win 2-1. (although we usually lose the good feeling on this one games!!)

Shame we couldn't have played Newcastle last weekend seeing as both teams have been out of the cup since round 3...that team they put out last team v Spurs is very beattable although Remy will be back from his ban and Ben Arfa is a bit of a jink player for us.

Newcastle in a terrible run needing points, Villa to oblige them. 3-1 Newcastle.

If one were to believe the papers then Pardews job is on the line in this game. With that in mind I'm not sure we can hammer the final nail in the coffin of his Newcastle career. I think he'll do enough to keep his job for another week. Still can't see them winning it though.

Well if you combine that with the rumours that he's lost the dressing room, it should mean that their players will absolutely not give a f&%k.

However, being as it's all newspaper rumour and conjecture it probably means the square root of diddly squat.

I can't help thinking that the last time we played them up there on a Sunday lunchtime was............

Anyway for what it's worth two inept teams = 0-0.

I was wondering how on earth, given the standard of mediocrity that English clubs who have had past success but aren't on the CL gravy train, like us and (to a lesser extent) them, Pardew's job can be under threat given their solid league position, then I looked at their recent results.

Crikey. Awful.

Losing three-nil at home to your local rivals is probably worth about three defeats against anyone else in terms of supporters wanting a manager sacked.

And to do it 2 seasons in a row is even worse

Rarely get to away games but I'm going to this one with my lads.

The last one we went to was the Hull match. It cant be as bad as that one can it?

I'd take a 0-0.

It also completed a Sunderland double for the season so he will have lost a lot of fans solely on that basis.
