12-2 5th over.

Commentators enthusing over Warwickshire and have said that it's the worst possible quarter-final draw. " A top first division bowling attack. And the spinners haven't even come on yet. There isn't a bowler you can identify to attack".

Will lose in the 38th over now...

59-4 off 14

213 to win off 36 overs. The rate is achievable but the wickets column is looking very healthy.

I've never fully trusted OHD this season but on Saturday he was excellent and looked good today.  Jeetan Patel is obviously ace and Boyd is very dangerous at county level.  When you've got Woakes to bring into that it really does look pretty good.

The treble's on...

203 all out!

won by 68 runs.

Commentators saying that the difference was our bowling attack as Essex bowled well.

"Warwickshire are a damned good team"

"goodness me they look a good team"

"Not a weak link in that bbowling attack"

"Simply come up against a team that would normally beat them"

"Essex are a good second division team who were unlucky enough to be drawn against Warwickshire twice"

who said that Peter?

We do look good though.

I remember watching Jason Roy destroy us and thinking we have no chance. Then going out for a cigarette and a sulk, then we were winning again.

Good innit

Great win and into the semis. Our attack is a match for anyone, bring it on!

Crazy that Woakes, Wright, Barker and Bell have hardly played this year, and we could still get the treble.

Another great win by the bears .i was listening to the match on the Essex  site and it was good to hear their guys saying how good the bears are .They were saying what bad luck to be drawn to the bears twice ,anyone else and they would have fancied their chances

They really have begun to look like a good outfit over the last month or so.  As someone mentioned above, it's amazing really when you think that most of the first choice bowling attack has been missing.  Trott also looks like he is having a very timely return to form.
