Another great win by the bears .i was listening to the match on the Essex  site and it was good to hear their guys saying how good the bears are .They were saying what bad luck to be drawn to the bears twice ,anyone else and they would have fancied their chances

They really have begun to look like a good outfit over the last month or so.  As someone mentioned above, it's amazing really when you think that most of the first choice bowling attack has been missing.  Trott also looks like he is having a very timely return to form.

And potentially Bell & Woakes could return for the final three weeks of the season.

In the 4th Qtr Final:
Kent won toss and batted and are currently:
16-2 7 overs
The men out Key 2 & Ben Harmison 0 in successive balls, Sam Northeast and Cowdrey at the wicket.

Draw for semis after this match later tonight. They will be played next Thursday and Saturday both 10:30 start. Be nice to get a home draw.

Kent 95-2 25 overs

This could be really tight.  Gloucs needing 39 0ff 29 balls with two wickets left.  Sam Billings looked very impressive batting for Kent earlier.

Kent at home for the Bears in the semi-final.  Seeing them tonight I'm not sure there is too much to fear.

It wouldn't have been so bad if the O's had beaten any other team but Villa. I was as pissed off as I would have been if Villa lost to anyone else.

Thinking about it, we were never going to play on the Saturday because of the T20 International at Edgbaston on the Sunday.

Thought about a day out at Lord's today, but couldn't persuade either of my sons it was a good use of their last weekend of the holiday...
