A real captains innings by Bell. Could do with him sticking around for a while yet.

Pretty good day for the Bears. 387-7 at the close, a lead of 245. Bell & Jeetan Patel have added 70-odd in 12 overs.

If we can get the lead up to 300 then game on.

Yes. A great innings from Bell, with some good supporting partnerships. I was particularly pleased with Clarke, both for the courage displayed and his restraint. Normally in these circumstanced he blasts a quick 20 or 30 with some spectacular shots before getting himself out.

Should be a great day tomorrow.

Moved on to 429-7
Partnership of 110 between these 2
Patel 68
Bell 159
A lead of 287. Patel gonna have a massive part to play when bowling as there are 7 Lhanders in the Sussex line-up plus the factt that both sides have used all opportunities to use the heavy roller
which should also benefit Jeets.
Patel moved on to 74 with a six which should have been caught.....shame....435-7 lead up to 293
