Headless chickens have a better plan than villa...

Think that's a bit unfair - it implies we have a semblance of a plan that gives headless chickens a starting point

Decent 5 minutes at the start followed by more turgid, directionless, dross.  Lucky to go in 0-0 against the bottom of the league.

Lambert needs to change the formation, take Benett off and replace him with Weimann and hope we get a couple on the break.

I really hope we can avoid an early goal in the 2nd half.

Well let's hope that was our shit half. We are fucked if it was our good one.

I pray to McGrath that your first sentence is the correct one.

We just don't look like a team, do we?

We look like a defence, a couple of strikers, and a bit of a random mess in the middle.

There never seems to be any shape to us, does there?

It really is absolute gash. I've always thought the major problem is the squad isn't good enough - and that is one of the problems - but really, what do they do in training? Do they work on things like movement or possession? Do we work on our passing?

We struggle to complete throw-ins, let alone passes, so fuck knows what he's working on at BMH.

Oh well, another two or three years on the contract, so we'd better get used to this shit.

Awful from us but it's 0-0 so Lambert won't make any changes.

No doubt Lambert thinks we've been fantastic this half.

No doubt about that whatsoever.

watching him, and hearing him on the pitch mic on my feed 3-4 times, he was far from happy. He is not enjoying this anymore than us

Fuck sake we are shit.2nd from bottom newly promoted team and they have a better CM than is.

Bennett has been poor going forward and gets in Bertrands way going backwards. They have the smarter movement upfront and Zaha though raw shows glimpes he could rip us apart.

Lucky to go in even at half time

I'm having to base it purely on radio commentary but it sounded like anything decent we did came from Alby or Bennett out wide. So get the fucking ball to them rather than hoofing it towards Benteke.

First 8 or 9 minutes we looked competent.

If the same 11 are sent out second half in the same formation then I really don't see how anyone can defend Lambert.

I said before the game that it is a strange choice to change formation away, when we have been poor-ish and yet stick to the same old same old at home where we have been atrocious.

Too many of Lamberts decisions make no sense.

They've sussed were suspect to pace at the back, but we're one pass away from scoring.  Bizarre - can only get better...

Worse. Some comedy defending but overall just clueless, weak and shit.

I'm a Westwood fan but he's been very poor again this match. Not that he's helped out at all in any way by our Stone Age tactics and set-up.

Oh please! He plays like this every single game! He's an appalling footballer who is out of his depth in the PL.
