Its raining heavily everywhere. Quite possible the match will be called off I should think.

Have you seen the weather forecasts, and in particular the big orange ball they've got over Cardiff for most of the day?

We're playing with an orange ball tonight?

A lot of this comes down to how Solskajieireiierayyer plays it.  If they play like an away team and try and get us on the break then we'll have real trouble breaking them down, because thats what we do.

That said, apparently the atmosphere down there has been getting pretty hostile and toxic when they don't go out and attack from the first whistle, which should play into our hands.

Its dry here so the unless it blasts it down this afternoon I think the game will be on.

I thought they were crap against Swansea last weekend, crap against us at Villa Park....I think we need a kick up the arse, a few killer crosses from Alby and 3 pts is getting seriously important now more than ever with teams around us picking up some form.

1-2

We should enjoy ourselves tonight. Cardiff and Swansea are the closest we're going to get to European football for many years to come.

2-0, goals from Bellamy and Whittingham. Chants of you dont know what you're doing and the beginning of the end for Lambo

Would you take that if it meant getting rid of the incompetent idiot?! You dread to think who the equally incompetent Faulkner might appoint instead. Is Tony Mowbray doing anything these days?

Anyone who thinks that can fuck off and support somebody else.

Judging by Saturdays post match thread there was a rush to lump on at 10/1 for us to get relegated.

16/1 before the match was an opportunity missed.

After tonight, could be 8/1

Never had a bet against Villa, never will. Some things are just to sacred.

If he doesn't start Albrighton, he's nuts.

We looked far more different, varied with him on Saturday. More than anything I hope we don't carry on playing so narrow for much longer. It hardly ever works, and on the whole, it's horrible to watch.

My Grandad died yesterday, so I'm hoping Villa can bring a bit of cheer tonight.

Despite our innumerable flaws, if there's one thing we're good at it's playing away from home against teams who keep the ball more than they threaten with it. This is, on paper, perhaps the archetypal Villa win under Lambert. Let's hope it pans out that way, because my god we need a win right now.

Ditto.

A rare occasion, though, when the Villa match won't be the most depressing thing to happen to you in a week.

Spoiler for Hiden:
;-)
