Never talk to Dave about who subscribes or how many he sells. After he announced the digital only thing to me with a call on Monday, where he demanded more copy incidentally, I floated the idea of my getting twenty quid an issue to churn the stuff out.

The call finished at 10pm and my shed was on fire and no more by 1am. I am not saying they are connected but....

I would have thought that there will be a ready made niche market for some young entrepreneur to launch Villains and Heroes in traditional fanzine form.

I wrote and illustrated a prototype Villa fanzine donkey's years ago - pre H and V - I called it "Holteite".   I must have it in one of my lofts being used as nesting material by squirrels I expect.   Same box as my thesis on Gaudi and my unfinished novel about a tribe of duck worshippers called "Earthquack".

Anyone know if any other fanzine gone digital only? If so, which one/s?

Spurs for definite. I know because I sold a few to their fans who said they missed paper copies of their fanzine. Stoke on the other hand do a new paper issue for every home game.

A quick Google and The Fighting Cock issue 1 is available in paper. No idea how recent that is.
