Woe woe and thrice woe.   I think those great guys like Lee should be given old copies to sell.   It is not so much selling a fake official programme as street theatre.   The old mags are more interesting anyway.

The twice a year bumper paper editions will still be sold at...four-six home games, at least, no? So, remnants of the matchday experience will remain albeit on a less regular basis.

I remember lobbying for a digital version a few years ago - after the cost of international postage became ridiculous....funny thing is, although I subscribe to the digital version, I hardly ever read it! It just does not get me excited the way finding a paper copy in my mailbox used to.

Since I moved to Australia two years ago, my wife has never understood the level of excitement I display when I find my latest copy of H&V in our mailbox. I'll be gutted when the last one is confirmed, but hey ho, the digital version it is then. Thanks to all the sellers I've encountered over the years. Godspeed

You can't halt progress, times change. A shame but smart move.

Walking down the Trinity Road without the sounds of 'Heroes & Villains THE Villa fanzine, brand new issue, only £x' will never be the same though.

Sad to see the print version go, it's such a part of the match-day excitement for me and also, as others have mentioned, if the game's boring it's a great distraction! But we must embrace the future, digital all the way!

Why not start a 'both clubs' scarf stall. Those are really popular with H&V folk....?!

Since retiring to Cornwall this year I always look forward to receiving H & V in the post, but I will however reluctantly get my villa fix online.

My thanks to all the sellers particularly Lord Woodhall, who over the years introduced me and the good lady to Messrs Bremner and Mortimer, (the good lady couldn't stop laughing at an old git being completely starstruck), whilst selling me the fanzine ( and various books for Christmas!) - it was always a pleasure to "shoot the breeze".

I wonder if anyone on here secretly wants one and will get a Villa/West Ham one in the hope of getting away with it. I thought of getting one for a laugh and tried to think of the saddest one I could get but then realised  they are all equally sad so there was no point.
