I wonder if he ever had the players and staff over for a party? I imagine the bomb squad being left out in the garden and Vlaar feeling poorly and having a lie down on a pile of coats in a bedroom. And his former coaches/assistants getting pissed and being rude to people. And when Randy visited the bottle of wine he brought got cheaper each time.

It would need redecorating before I put an offer in... I am not doing that many rooms ffs

Surely Lambo would go for an exciting paint colour like magnolia? Dour & Boring!

I see there wasn't a trophy room.

Might have to have a gander up there on my bike, see if I can spot any other Villa players round and about.

Wouldn't Lambert have claimed all night that Randy was at the party despite nobody seeing him?

I think it's a bit undignified / uncomfortable to be viewing his old house.
Bit like rifling your way through your aunties knicker draw (I'd guess)

Given his pay off he could probably still live there and commute. Going again up and down the M6.

Can't see him getting a big job again.
He seems devoid of talent, enthusiasm and any sort of charisma / personality.
He literally drained the life out of villa.

He will get another Norwich type job, on the hope that he can repeat what he did and get a club up and follow it up with a season sustaining it. The problem he has got is that he needs to find himself 2-3 trusted coaches, as it is clear that both in training and tactically he was bloody useless.

He denoted so many important aspects of management onto other people, and thus he just became a face and representation of failure.

If the timing of his sacking had of been a week or two different he would probably be back at Norwich. He wouldn't have been the first manager to leave on bad terms but still return to a club.

His challenge will be that the blokes he once put all his faith in coming up the ranks are no longer with him. That bridge appears to have been burnt. His issue is trust and he didn't seem to have any in those around him by the end.

I hope he get's another job, if only for the fact that he 'got us' as a club. He bought in to the history and size of the Villa and, obviously wanted to do well.  I always felt he liked the club and it was not just for his salary.

Sadly, as a manager he was totally incompetent as far as we were concerned.
