I was really hoping for some form of statement.  But nothing.  Fucking wankers!!!!!!!

Sorry for the abuse, but feel the need to vent my anger somehow.
Vent away.

Venting is the only therapy at the moment.

OK.

Damn you Villa, you gaggle of clusterfuckers.

Well it's midday and there's not even the rumour of an emergency board meeting doing the rounds. I take it that means he's staying?

Was he ever leaving?

I thought Fox made it pretty apparent that mid-season firings are not in their business plan?

One solution we haven't thought of is demoting him to the youth team like he did with the Bomb Squad.

Then bring a new manager in.

A clear Constructive dismissal case there if he resigned.

How about we just sack the stupid fuck.
MON walked and still got a payout after the tribunal.

Which means its only 7.00am ET in the US. If RL is in the Carribean he will probably not be holding conversations with the Fox until about now.
And - yes - I assume they would have spoken last night, but they will need to have some sort of approach worked out re PR and replacement if they are going to fire Clueless. Which probably means another converation today.

But that all presupposes that there is a trigger to be pulled; which may not be the case.

To repeat my earlier assertion: if he stays we will not win another P'ship game this season.

If you're waiting for some form of action, I think you're wasting your time.

He's not going to be going anywhere.

I agree wholeheartedly Robbo but I think Lambert has one objective and it is a compensation cheque in his pocket. He will put up with any amount of criticism so that he can laugh all the way to the bank. If I owned the club whoever proposed the four year contract in the first place would be joining him at the Hob Centre.

TBAR?

Nobody deserves that.

Even if he stays we will win a game. It might just be 1 game but we will. Even the 86/87 side twatted West Ham 4-0 for the only win of the season after Boxing Day.

How many would Leicester have to be up to have villa park fully on his back for a sustained period? No manager can survive this level of shit.

What ever the number is I'd sacrifice it right now to get shot of this parasite and give us a little shot at staying up.

Aston Villa and plan, under Randy Lerner the two don't go together. It's all based on trust and hope and see what happens because they're nice guys and deserve the best.

It's a good job his dad left him a fortune because he'd be scouring empty chip packets looking for leftovers if it was down to him the dumb fuck.

It's okay though, we've got a savvy CEO and a fresh face in the Commercial sector.. we'll be the most popular and wealthy Championship club in east Asia.

I keep trying to square this off in my mind. Supposing that the club has no intention of sacking Lambert, due to this notion of loyalty and a belief that ‘flipping the coin’ will work again us, what is the strategy? Even the most foolhardy and unknowledgeable must be able to see that our current form suggests that some form of risk assessment will need to be done for life outside of the Premiership; I may think many things as to the running of the club but to imagine that they have not considered this is simply unthinkable. So what’s the strategy, do they think that Lambert will eventually hit upon a winning formula, do they think that it’s simply a case of the rub of the green going for us, do they think that we've done it before so will do it again, or do they believe that once our players regain form we will pull clear? These are frankly the only reasonable assumptions I can gleam from a situation that past ridiculous last year, sped past ludicrous without pausing in September and is current show-boating past unfathomable with phantasmagorical on the horizon.

I would take Michael Sheen playing Brian Clough as our manager right now. Lambert is an utter embarrassment.
