You know my over-riding impression of Lambert last night was of a totally and utterly broken man, devoid of any notion of how to fix this. He looked like a lame horse that needed to be put out of its misery; when the second goal went in, he even looked like he was going to burst into tears. He cannot in all honesty wake up his morning and believe that he can turn it around; if he does then he’s as delusional as Comical Ali.

Being a Villa fan at the moment is absolute torture.
Tell me about it. Horrific night last night not much sleep and massive f in piss taken at work this morning. I fuckin hate this absolutely.

I'm off to our factory in Hull today. Excellent.

We've taken 6 points from 12 games for fucks sake, how is that a sackable offence on its own?

Neil you are absolutely right about Lambert's current status. He can not influence our results or his own position. This is the time for those in charge Fox and Co to earn their money by either putting him out of his misery or providing substantial help. It's not difficult because there is only one option and that option if not taken up immediately will relegate us without a whimper I am afraid.

It was my turn as a team leader last night at my local homeless shelter,
Even the homeless and destitute were taking the piss out of me

My daughter has just remembered she's a Hull 'fan' today. I shall turn a blind eye when her brother takes exception to something she says.

It's a good job you didn't tell them you were a Villa fan.

My two sons last night were discussing how fed up they are of having the piss taken out of them about the villa. My youngest has had to endure this pretty much since he's been born... Poor bugger

"I was aware of it months ago. I try to do my best. I've told the players, they've got 13 cup finals - that's how they have to look at it."

That statement infuriates me on a couple of levels. Firstly the fans have been incredibly patient, so don't make out that you've been taking stick for months. Secondly well trying to do your best is clearly not good enough. Finally this '13 cup finals' thing is utter bollocks, you can't keep trotting that cliche out every season. What about all the games you've already failed in? Why does saying that the remaining ones are 'cup finals' make any fucking difference?

Hopefully Fox is there in his office with HR and a Lawyer and terms are being agreed. Meanwhile a press statement is being prepared to announce his immediate departure with Sid in charge for the Leicester game.

He's probably having a lie in with a pillow over his face.

If he needs a hand getting sufficient pressure on that pillow I'm happy to help!

Thirteen cup finals then. We all know how we do in a cup tie.

Get rid of the clueless numpty immediately. Appoint a caretaker manager (or even a school caretaker who would do a better job than TOSM) for the Leicester game and find a replacement in the meantime before Stoke.

The manager at our local McDonald's would do a better job.

It winds me up the shambles and the serious trouble we are in and the owner is on holiday in the Caribbean.

On the plus side my son is going to a cup final on the weekend of his birthday in March. Hope I can get tickets.
