If two wins in 20 odd games isn't a sackable offence then I'm not sure what is, he is the new Teflon Don.

Are we allowed to make a Lambert sack watch thread yet? With 11 days between league games, surely this is (in theory, though of course there's very little chance in reality) the primest of all the previous prime occasions to get the P45 finally.

Since the start of 2011-12 we have won 139 points from 139 PL games at less than one goal per game in 3.5 years.

I think he goes today or he's here till the end of the season and relegation becomes inevitable.

After last night's debacle, the Teflon Twit mumbled that he's been hurting for three years. In those three years we've had several 'philosophies' and styles of play, players that have come and gone, but still the same staggering ineptitude and only one constant: the manager.

When will he get it through his thick skull that, when it comes to on-the-pitch-matters, the problem is him? How many millions does he have to make before he puts us all out of our misery and fucks off? He never has to work again. He's rich. And yet he still persists in a job he can't do after three years of trying. Have some self respect, man, and hand in your notice.

Relegation is now almost inevitable, but I’m sure we will be excellent in the Championship.

Still not sacked then? Absolutely staggering. I am absolutely bewildered at the apparent arrogance and ignorance of the people making decisions at the club. It's quite simple, if you don't change the manager we will be relegated. We might be relegated even if you do make a change, but at least it will give us a chance.

Given we have almost two weeks until Stoke, now is an ideal time to sack him and get a replacement in.

Still, we know McNiel II isn't going any where which makes this all the more staggering.

This next four hours will decide our fate for the next five years at least.   If somebody at Villa Park has the balls to track down the owner in the Caribbean and get his approval to the sacking of Lambert we may, with a bit of dead cat bounce, scrape up.   If the attitude is Mr Lerner is on holiday and must not be disturbed, Mr Lerner can wave ta ta to another £70 million and try to sell us out of the Championship.

The best thing that could happen now is to get beat at home to Leicester.  Carrying the team to the Quarter Final could keep him in a job. - Not that I would normally condone us wanting to get beat whatever the circumstances.

That is not the best thing.

The best thing would be to sack him today, hope the board has done some proper succession planning for the first time in many many years and we beat Leicester, Stoke et al

Get rid of the clueless numpty immediately. Appoint a caretaker manager (or even a school caretaker who would do a better job than TOSM) for the Leicester game and find a replacement in the meantime before Stoke.

Thank you Lambert and Lerner for making me utterly sick of the sight of Villa. We're an utter utter shambles on every fucking level. If either Lambert or Lerner have any pride left, Lambert will not be in charge by noon.

That's just wishful thinking.

Tom Fox said that Randy is loving the Villa again. Well I am not.
