Tom Fox said that Randy is loving the Villa again. Well I am not.

I am absolutely hating being a Villa fan at the moment.

Easy for Randy to say that when he's sat at home watching us on a projector screen.  He hasn't got to suffer this rubbish, week in, week out.

Get rid of the clueless numpty immediately. Appoint a caretaker manager (or even a school caretaker who would do a better job than TOSM) for the Leicester game and find a replacement in the meantime before Stoke.

Bring in Mr Bennet

The best thing that could happen now is to get beat at home to Leicester.  Carrying the team to the Quarter Final could keep him in a job. - Not that I would normally condone us wanting to get beat whatever the circumstances.

That is not the best thing.

The best thing would be to sack him today, hope the board has done some proper succession planning for the first time in many many years and we beat Leicester, Stoke et al

That would be the best thing. The second best thing would be for us to stumble through against Leicester and then for Lambert to get sacked after losing the next league game. Then we might get someone who knows what he's doing and we'd still be in the cup.

everything that can usefully be said about the two L's has been said. Maybe time to lock threads relating to these two until a change happens for the sake of everybody's sanity?

Where would we go to have a vent over their continuous incompetence in the meantime?

If Albion or Burnley win tonight, and we lose at home to Stoke then we've a bigger mountain to climb.

It's almost impossible to come up with anything new to say isn't it?! That almost adds to the maddening frustration of it all

Hopefully Fox is there in his office with HR and a Lawyer and terms are being agreed. Meanwhile a press statement is being prepared to announce his immediate departure with Sid in charge for the Leicester game.

He's probably having a lie in with a pillow over his face.

Those are very big ifs. Personally I think the chances of both Burnley and Albion winning are pretty remote.
