Hopefully Tom Fox had the biggest piss taking of his life by his old pals and is currently drawing up plans to avenge this dark day by giving Lambert the spanish archer first thing tomorrow.
If he actually has any pride and authority lambert will be gone before lunch tomorrow .

There was a headline - possibly in The Sun when they were taking potshots at Graham Taylor - that summed up the situation while I was following the game today: 'In the name of God, go'.

Referencing Leo Amery's speech demanding Chamberlain's exit as PM in 1940, which in turn referenced Oliver Cromwell.

This team should be a comfortable top 10 team with the correct coaching and management, simple as that.

100% agree.

Yes. We'll probably be relegated and even worse it will have been avoidable.

Nice to see The Sun keeping a sense of perspective.

To the untrained and the trained eye were are a shambolic mess from top to bottom. Not acting now is completely negligent, Lambert must go. Continuity when you have the wrong manager is a complete waste of time and worse than that it's actually damaging.

Don't forget the 'In the name of Allah go!'.

Under Bobby Robson after a draw in a friendly Saudi Arabia.

What galls me is Pearce has been sacked by Forest for having a record Lambert could only dream of.

If ever there was a headline which demonstrated that the past is a foreign country...

I voted to keep him. Things are obviously awful but I think he's doing the job he's been asked to do. Lerner will be asking a new guy to do exactly the same thing so what's the point changing it? I know there's a chance that things could get a bit better, but they could also get worse. We're set up to bore along largely where we are.

We have better players than stoke . He has
He's not getting the best out of what's available to him but it'll take a much better manager than whoever would come to us under the current regime to succeed where he's failing. In my opinion, obviously.

I don't think we'll go down and, if we don't, he'll have hit the target set to him by his boss.

McLaren, moyes and even Hughes would do better with our squad.

I think we know it is more likely that they will be having Lunch together tomorrow.
Sadly humble pie will not be on the menu, there will be quite a few red herrings and they will definitely be Drinking the KooL Aid

I love that speech. 'Ye are no parliament...ye have no more religion than my horse...ye sordid prostitutes' etc etc. PMQs was different then.

Not to me. Back then they were funny.
