There will still be some that will vote to keep him (god only knows why but that is their prerogative), there are also some non- villa fans that come on here I guess.

It has to be training. I mean, do they actually practice standing still? Because they look very good at it.

I voted to keep him. Things are obviously awful but I think he's doing the job he's been asked to do. Lerner will be asking a new guy to do exactly the same thing so what's the point changing it? I know there's a chance that things could get a bit better, but they could also get worse. We're set up to bore along largely where we are.

I admire your honesty and bravery. Do you really think that he is getting the best out of the players he has?
What would he have to do in your opinion to get fired?

Fair play to you for sticking to your opinion.
But, you'd rather stick with someone who has failed on every possible level, rather than the club taking a gamble on doing something that might improve things?
Surely you can see we are plummeting towards the championship under lambert, but you'd rather stick with lambert in case we get someone worse?

We're set up to bore along ... because of Lambert, not Lerner.

Lerner will be asking the exact same thing to a different manager? So. We are all aware of that. I'm more confident of the answer being a positive one with someone else.

Could it really get worse? The relegation zone is beckoning.

By all means disagree, no beef wid dat. However I don't understand your points with sticking with him.

He wouldn't still be in the job at any other team in the league.

Fully appreciate the constraints and the other myriad of excuses but the bottom line remains he's not getting anywhere near the best from the resources at his disposal now and thats surely the fundamental requirement of any manager in any job.

He's not getting the best out of what's available to him but it'll take a much better manager than whoever would come to us under the current regime to succeed where he's failing. In my opinion, obviously.

I don't think we'll go down and, if we don't, he'll have hit the target set to him by his boss.

Pearce has left Forest. I think thats premature but shows how ridiculously patient we have been in comparison

Can't we have a whip round to pay Mohammed Fayed to give Lambert an all expenses paid chauffeur driven weekend in Paris?

We could be cut adrift at the bottom.

I'm not trying to convince anyone to change their minds. Christ knows I understand why people are for giving him the push. I was just explaining the 'keep him' vote for those who were wondering.
