Even the noses changed their manager. And the tea lady and the banged up owners son are the most senior people running them at the moment.

I voted to keep him. Things are obviously awful but I think he's doing the job he's been asked to do. Lerner will be asking a new guy to do exactly the same thing so what's the point changing it? I know there's a chance that things could get a bit better, but they could also get worse. We're set up to bore along largely where we are.
how in hell can this get any worse?

We could be cut adrift at the bottom.

I'm not trying to convince anyone to change their minds. Christ knows I understand why people are for giving him the push. I was just explaining the 'keep him' vote for those who were wondering.
I think I  understand, you think that Lerner is actually capable of making the situation even worse?
You might have a point there.

There is only one compelling reason not to sack Lambert, and that's a Randy Lerner manager search.

How Things could get any worse? A new manager should only have one attacking scheme and he will have done better than PL.

There isn't a single justifiable reason to keep him in charge, not one.

I really don't get it. On paper we have the strongest side since MON left, maybe even stronger than the side MON had in his last season but we are so poor.
We got over most of our injury worries just before Christmas and I generally was excited thinking now we'll turn a corner and push on.
We've actually got worse week after week and then we get the positive soundbites from the club. It's nuts, bloody frustrating and bloody nuts.

This team should be a comfortable top 10 team with the correct coaching and management, simple as that. Randy get a grip, toss that coin, you never know
we might have a manger who knows what he's doing.

The lack of a decent assistant is the most baffling thing.

Not sure if this article has been posted on the multiple Lambert related threads but Michael Cox was scathing of his tactics today in the Guardian - http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/feb/01/arsenal-aston-villa-michael-cox

Good, except when he says "Lambert has retained his reputation as a good tactician." Really?

The lack of a decent assistant is the most baffling thing.

Who exactly is on the coaching staff now?  I'm guessing that Scott Marshall must be his assistant now, but who else?  There is a guy who does the warm ups who looks a bit like Alan Wright, but I'm not sure exactly what role he has.

The assistant is irrelevant if the Dr hasn't got a f***ing clue how to drive the Tardis.
