I really wish I didn't care about Villa, because I don't want to put myself through this utter garbage every week.

Its obvious things are not going to improve as we are. For that reason he has to go.

That's it exactly for me. I supported him longer than most and it was in the hope we'd see more of what we were seeing in infuriatingly short glimpses. Under Lambert we've scored some of the best goals i've seen Villa score. But we are getting worse, a lot worse, and I don't have any faith in him turning it around now.

Same. Instead of looking forward to the weekend watching the game the family braces for my inevitable bad mood.

Ack.

He tried youth - it didn't work.
He's tried experience - it didn't work.
He tried long ball - it didn't work
He tried a passing game - it didn't work.

Time to leave now, Paul.

Don't forget that he tried cheap foreigners (Luna, Tonev, etc.) in his second year too.  That didn't work either.

That's it, we have no belief in him and perhaps the players have lost it to. Sounds to me like the fans have turned so fingers crossed we get good news in the next 48 hours.

Just out of interest - which goals were they then ?

Off the top of my head I'd have Lowton's against Stoke, and the goal scored against Sunderland at home from Lowton's cross-field ball. A good few of Benteke's have been superb also.

I think he will be gone next weekend. We will probably lose against the bindippers and play atrociously (not that I wish for either) and a big crowd at VP will then unleash their feelings for this idiot in a way that cannot be ignored any further even by that dozy uncaring pillock of a chairman we have

Agree, the injury thing and the difficult games thing are long past, as well, to no avail.
I think we're going backwards.

If Tom Fox is good for anything it must be to give Randy a fair and balanced assessment of the current situation, which is dreadful with the capacity to turn catastrophic. I don't see the teams below us staying there. There's still time to do something effective about it in early January.

First season we scored some simply magnificent goals. Let's not alter history because the present is so poor.

Off the top my head, Weimann Anfield, Benteke Albion, Weimann Manure, Benteke Norwich, Benteke Anfield, Delph Saints, Delph Chelsea, Delph Albion, Lowton and Benteke Stoke, Weimann? Norwich LC when we were playing Ole football. There's more but getting depressed remembering the heady days of a goal.

In that first season:
WEIMANN at Liverpool, and BENTEKE
LOWTON at Stoke
BENTEKE at west brom
WEIMANN home v subderland
Vlaar v sunderland

We were an exciting side at the end of that season and we've been horrible to watch ever since
