I suppose it is worth pointing out we are 12th so things could be worse.

BUT he is killing us with this hopeless garbage week after week, season after season. Just fuck off please.

Voted finally.

Over xmas when you have Swansea and WBA away, then Sunderland and Palace at home, I expect better than 2 points and 0 goals scored.

Trouble is, had we picked up a few wins in this run against our main rivals we could have opened up a comfy gap. As it is we've got a run of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal on the horizon (after a tricky Leicester game which is now a must win really). We could well be close to, if not in the bottom 3 by the middle of Feb.

Because we've never tried that trick before, no siree.

The mythical "easier games" where we pick up points.

Don't worry, look again in 4 games time and I think you'll find it will be.

Those two wins against Palace and Leicester seem a long time ago now. Even the Palace game was somewhat fortunate. Benteke pulled off a moment of class in a game they dominated for about 80 minutes.

If they dominated that game surely we dominated this one? They looked as toothless at Selhurst as we did today.

We did but sadly did nothing with it. As it was one moment of quality from Bolasie almost snatched it for them. They came closer.
I don't think there's a good reason why we should ever give so much of the game to a club like Palace as we did at Selhurst and park the bus.
Today for two thirds of the pitch we dominated as we should against a side like that (particularly playing without a manager today). Sadly the cohesion between midfield and attack is still non-existent so we look just as toothless as we do when we park 10 men behind the ball in games. It all amounts to the same, which is immense boredom.

How long till we get a 'Bolton at home moment' ? There seems to be no sign of improvement, just wonder what the hell they do in the week at BH ?

The defence is solid and Sanchez, Delph look good in midfield, but the fact that PL can't see that Gabby and Weimann offer no movement or creativity is really frightening, they are just willing runners who offer nothing. Grealish seems to find space, and the fact that he doesn't even start yet sums all this mess up.

'Fun' fact. Charlie Austin has scored more goals than Aston Villa this season.

He's probably had more shots than us.

Spurs have just scored 2 in 5 minutes against Chavski. I dream of Villa scoring twice in a month.
