He is a premier league manager, we are not.

Who is not a premier league manager?

Its always luck when it suits you.

To still be managing our great club with his dreadful record proves he is the luckiest manager around.
I'd like to ask the man for six numbers between 1-49.

Whats N'zogbia's number? That always seems to come out the bag

Saddam was just unlucky
He had a better assistant in Chemical Ali.

Lambert is just unlucky with assistants

He was lucky not to be executed earlier.

I'll be at Tehran away cheering them on as always....but if Gaddafi ever takes over I'll never set foot in iraq again

He is a premier league manager, we are not.

Based on that sort of logic, shall we just close the site down then?

Comical Ali, still makes me laugh when I think of him talking with the US tank appearing.

Defending Lambert in the face of those statistics is frankly laughable. Even if you want him to remain in charge there's no way to spin his record to look anything other than terrible.

Not disagreeing, they are poor but I thought your comment about "there's no way to spin his record to look anything other than terrible" quite funny when the lists only contained 15 teams.  What happened to the other 5?

The other 5 have been what has kept us in the PL, just.  It is getting repetitive now and, although I have always been optimistic, I cannot predict when our next win will be.  Villa are just as likely to win at Liverpool as lose at home to Palace and, as such, any enjoyment has long gone.  I watch games now thinking, can we get a point of this game to creep nearer safety.

I'm one who likes your contribution Westley as we're a broad church but this just smacks of being a WUM. I can quite honestly say that has to be the stupidest thing I've read on here in the last 10 years.
Exactly.  It's such a poor argument.  I'm not a film director but I'm perfectly capable of judging a bad film when I see one.
