Lamberts overstayed his welcome. Simple as that. Nothing will really change whilst he's in charge. Tactically he's just inept. Budget or not, there's no excuse after 5 windows for us to have, if anything, regressed since the tail end of his first season. We still don't have the elusive playmaker. We still haven't worked out that signing at least one genuine winger would probably reap great rewards with strikers like Benteke and Kozak on the books. This "New style" nonsense is 2 years too late. He should have been doing this from the beginning, as he'd actually said he would. We were promised football in "the right way" and to attack in games (following McLeish's dour reign). He hasn't delivered nearly enough.

Lambert out.

So having a class Belgian international striker , top goalie , Dutch international defender who was one of the best players in world cup . Columbian international  who looks great , ex manure England international midfielder , England regular international midfielder , right back most fans saying player of season so far , fantastic Danish defender , Irish defender playing his best football in years , is not good enough to actually see us play some decent football and maybe score some goals .

Excuse after excuse , Lambert is out of his depth , he's got no idea what he's doing .

I'm one who likes your contribution Westley as we're a broad church but this just smacks of being a WUM. I can quite honestly say that has to be the stupidest thing I've read on here in the last 10 years.

I refer you to Juan Pablo's post just above yours.
JP has summed things up succinctly. You - au contraire - have not.

Well yes even though what he's actually written makes no sense. The sentiment is nonsense.

And Saddam Hussain was a President.  Don't mean to say it was right.

Its always luck when it suits you.

To still be managing our great club with his dreadful record proves he is the luckiest manager around.

I'd like to ask the man for six numbers between 1-49.

He'd probably just suggest 50, 58, 75 and 91.
