I have a feeling that today is our last day with Lambert in charge.   I don't think Benteke will bail him out again and he will be gone in the morning.

i've seen a few tenuous online links to Steve Clarke coming in as Keane's replacement this morning. I really hope it's true. Not just because of his track-record as an assistant, but because i thought he actually did a decent job as WBA's "Head Coach" which is a position I think we're more in need of.

Stave Clarke would be a good move IMO.

The press and now the bookies are talking about Lambert being sacked. I honestly feel a loss tonight, he will be gone before the weekend

Clarke would be a good move as an assistant, he did that really well at Chelsea. I've never liked the idea of an 'head coach' though.

Just the idea of any kind of coach is appealing at the moment!

Steve Clarke would make sense since the players appear to be in desperate need of coaching.
can't come in soon enough.

Isn't it just the Olbiun who call them head coaches?

I think another loss or even maybe a draw and he's gone . It's reached a point now where he needs wins to turn the tide.

He had a spell for Jose didn't he, among others.

If by some chance we lose say by 4-1, or a big defeat like that, I reckon Lambert will call it a day. Lerner will probably put Agbonlahor in temporary charge of affairs as he is the senior proffessional and has recently been awarded a brand new contract.

Steve Clarke would be a sensible move thats why it wont happen. No doubt we will get Neil Lennon unless he has found employment elsewhere.

Gabby in charge would be frightening. The sadder part is, I could see Randy actually doing something that stupid.
Though I suspect Sid will get the role temporarily until we can get someone in.

If that happens, I'll finally be certain that he's sat at home, watching 'Major League' on a continuous loop.
