Look at Pardew at the barcodes, 5 wins on the bounce - that will never happen at the Villa while this buffoon is in charge, never! And their squad is no better than ours!

I think their squad is better than our in fairness, but Pardew is a better manager by a long way.

Absolutely. And while I'm definitely not defending Lambert at least Newcastle fans have seen this coming and definitely haven't been consistently calling for Pardew's head...

5 goals scored in 11 games.  That really is criminally, horribly bad.

tomorrow is a great day to sack him. International break gives the club a bit of extra time. Also, I'd relieve Keane of his duties - he isn't the right man to be a manager, and I doubt any new incoming manager would want him there as a number 2.

Nail on head - please let this be true.

Toon army were calling for his head 6 games ago. And that was at games, not even the laptop warriors.

Are you ever going to drop this tedious nonsense? Ever?

Why don't you just argue your point instead of posting non-stop digs at other people? If you detest "laptop warriors" so much, what are you even doing here?

Any chance of a response to the fact they were actually demanding his job at toon 6 games ago?

It would be lunacy to sack Lambert now we are on an unbeaten run.

I don't know if it really deserves a response, but maybe you should just make the point you're trying to make rather than finishing almost every post with a dig at other people?

Maybe then people would engage with you more, but if this boring "laptop warriors" stuff goes on, you're going to get banned.

So why not just elaborate on your point and leave the digs to one side?

Their squad is miles better than ours.

I don't have a problem if Lambert produces less than they do with their squad, they have better players. I have a problem that Lambert produces less with our squad than he should do.

Our players are not, on the whole, brilliant by any stretch of the imagination, but they should be producing much more than they have this year. Or last year. Or the one before.

I'm going to bring my ps4, fifa, and TV to the next game.

I'm even thinking of taking the Mrs.

You've taken this too far Paulie. Too far.

Because they're the toon army and have been after Pardew from the minute he got through the door.

Unlike our current incumbent, he can actually point to several periods of good form with them, as well as actually having turned around ailing sides, both inherited and self created.

We on the over hand are in a downward spiral and have been for 3 1/2 seasons, 2 1/2 of which Lambert has overseen.

It's his squad now. He's already discarded all bar Bacuna and Kozak from last year's signings.  In all of that time we've seen 1 run of decent results that have come from a team that looked like they knew what they were doing.

Everything else has been pretty much downhill.

You don't need to be at the game to see that, but credit to those that still go.  And yes you do get to see different aspects of movement and covering that you don't get watching on TV, but given our total lack of movement, I don't feel I'm missing so much on that front at the moment.

A chimpanzee in space could see that our players are devoid of confidence and self-belief at the moment. The last 2 games I've seen they also looked like they had no belief in what they were bring asked to do.

Pauliewalnuts said in the post match thread that in the first half that they looked like a team trying to get the manager sacked.
I wonder how close to the truth that was and an almighty bollocking from our favourite Irish psychopath got them working a bit harder secone half.

I appreciate the sentiment that we should support the team, and I would agree that booing during a game is counterproductive, but come full-time I think it's fair enough given the absolute shit that's been served up for the majority of last season and this.

Do you really think that Lambert will keep us up? Because nothing, absolutely nothing suggests that.  Without bringing up all the negative records that would have got anyone at another club sacked for just 1 or 2 of them:-

29 points from 30 games so far in 2014. 14 points in the last 1/2 season worth of games before Saturday. At best that's now 15, at worst it could be down to 12, I'm not checking at this time of night.
5 goals in 10 games.
Barely averaging a goal per game during his time here, despite having Benteke available for most of that period.
Tactics that look like he's just made his way from Barnford Park in the Warley Sunday League.

Where in all of that is there an indication that he can identify where we're struggling and that he knows what to do to sort it out.

In that awful run-in last year, people.were talking about Baker looking shellshocked and that he needed taking out of the firing line for his own good.

I think the same can be said of Lambert. The last 2 1/2 seasons might well be the making of Lambert as a manager if he can take the time to look at what's gone on and reflect on how to do it better next time. But it won't be with us.

He needs to go for our sake and his.

of course he does but he won't. I 'm struggling to see an end to our plight but perhaps its not unreasonable to think that if we are anchored in the bottom two or three by Christmas then the penny might drop that the cost of relegation far outweighs the cost and pain of sacking him.
