Lambert isn't one to dwell on defeats.

It's a good job. With the number he has overseen he would be suicidal.

Very drole. The point is that Lambert has a different approach to perhaps how a lot of  British football fans and supporters see football. He often comments about we go again and that's exactly the case. Lambert shown he's tough enough to take the defeats as have been the players. Having lost to spurs 3-0 at the end of last season Lambert is quoted as saying it was an incredible achievement to keep Villa in the premier league. Not only this he regards it as his greatest achievement as a manager and a great achievement in his career. Its quite evident again in face of such adversity , namely these last few matches, the villa manager shown real strength and is far from being overwhelmed by negative feelings that you jest of. In fact such mental toughness considering the current situation means Lambert must be really learning . Now that's the hope and let's hope victories can occur under his stewardship.

That is an amazing post. I salute you sir.

Fuck it, you've got me back onside.

I fail to see anything around the club that has actually improved while Lambert has been in charge.

The balance sheet?
We also have a carbon neutral ground.

The 3G network connection actually works and is permanently available. So that's a big improvement  in the last two years.

Very good and now we see how  exactly  you managed to get a 4 year contract for him. I bet you sell sand to Arabs?

Network availability is utterly useless.

With all that we've been through the last five years  i can see why some want him to stay but i can't get past the hurdle that player for player we compare pretty well against most in the premiership and there is no excuse for the football we've played the last six weeks. We have been hard done by injuries but other clubs get them and don't capitulate.

After four years I don't think we can put our injuries purely down to luck either. It's been consistently problematic for us. I'd question potentially our fitness team, or medical team, or perhaps the training pitch even and then signing injury prone players too. Likewise as a squad we don't look as fit as some other sides either. Bad luck undoubtedly plays a part, but I think there's elements we could control which we probably should be doing better.

Perhaps this is because they have it so easy.

Re training and pitches there is a full size 3g pitch all weather surface at BH. And there are no 100% natural grass pitches.. Almost all premier league grounds have this pitch grass mix of around !95% natural and the5% artificial. There is an exact replica of Villa park surface which has this grass hybrid which is used fir first team training. As well as this body moor heath players get to play on  fibresand pitches which i think provide extra stablity. At BH training grounds we have hybrid and grass/artificial pitches its an educated guess and sounds excellent but its noted that BH is outstanding.
