Collymore is on Talksport in a bit to talk about us. He's normally worth a listen.

David Moyes would be ideal for us. He has a reputation to revive and i think he would be excellent for us.
However would he want the job while the club is up for sale. Pulis would keep us up but would fans settle for a "Stoke" style of football week in and week out once he got settled in?

You would really hope that there is a contingency plan in place for if he walks or we sack him, even if Randy loves him the plan should be there just in case. Sadly, i'm not convinced there would be such a plan.

As opposed to the festival of total football we've been enjoying for the last two years, you mean?

At least with Pulis you have some idea of what he is trying to achieve. After two seasons of Lambert, I'm still not sure what he is trying to get out of this group of players.

I know what you mean but i feel with Pulis it would not be long before people got bored of his style of football. I would prefer Pulis or Moyes to what we have now.

Unless Lambert left and Keane took the job?

Pulis plays in a way that suits the players he has.  Palace played some decent stuff under him.

I'd take him over Lambert.

It might be just me, but I actually thought Palace played some decent football last season under Pulis?  They certainly ripped us a new one.  Not hard I appreciate.

Moyes might come if we get taken over, but in the meantime as a more short term solution I think Pulis would be fine. Last season, he took over a poor Palace side and made them hard to beat. They actually played some decent stuff, too.

Yes that is right. Pulis then dropped him. Agree that his Palace team played some nice stuff but after walking out on Palace would he want to work for Mr Lerner?

Pulis does the coaching, does not delegate. That may be what we need.

Will not happen though under the present regime, but we can hope.
