Wasn't that the registration plate he bought off John Gregory?

I was going to post that maybe it was Avi Cohen.  But then I looked him up on wikipedia and found out that he died of injuries sustained in a motorbike accident in 2010 aged 54.

I presume that Deadly gets a lift on the team bus to Spurs and they were all just dropped off at BH?

Post Match Interview

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/9307759/premier-league-aston-villa-boss-paul-lambert-hails-his-own-achievement
Utterly pathetic. That's the mark of a dead man walking, just the same as McLeish 2 years ago.

Scraping survival is no achievement at a club like this. Lambert can sod off as far as I'm concerned, and I hope to god we don't have to pay the incompetent arse off, because that would make me feel physically sick. Useless. Totally and utterly shambolic.

Damn. As I said I was hoping it was Randy with a P45.
There were no tv cameras or anything there on the off chance of some " news "

That's a pretty shameful interview.

Doug drives a light blue RR with av1 plate

Gregory had V1LLA, now some bloke in Solihull has that on a bashed up pick up truck. Seen it around the streets a lot.

He is putting a good spin on too help with his next appointment. His achievement at Norwich and keeping us up under the so called Austerity measures will be enough for him to get another go.
He has not done anything to suggest that he should be manager of this club. Purchases, Tactics, Cup Exits, Selections and the Antics of his direct reports are all down to him.

Maybe Doug can't afford Sky Sports so nipped to BMH to watch the game there.

After the Chelsea game everybody was saying they could see an improvement?  Chelsea was a great result but I think thats wishful thinking.

If you asked most supporters before, immediately after the Chelsea game and now they would say we have gone backwards. He HAS had a very difficult mandate but I really don't believe that he is up to the task of rebuilding us particularly if there is money to spend. The set up, style and quality of football is not Aston Villa and for that he must go.

Like so many on here though I genuinely do wish him well.

Me too, he's honest enough.
