I still don't it. What is so fun about a Villa forum following a bad loss?

I realise it's difficult for those who were backing him right up to last week to admit they were wrong. I empathise with you as I thought he was the right man when we took him on and so I was wrong too. I just realised it ages ago. Those who didn't have taken great delight in telling us all to 'man up' or 'grow a pair' or some such other language over the last few weeks. They seemed to be revelling in the fact that they thought we were wrong. And if you Toronto, think I've revelled in it, then touche mate, I had you down as better than that. We can all be sanctimonious...

I don't think I've ever read a post from anyone so happy that their team has lost.

Cheap shot Dave, you can gang up on me all you like

You can give it out but you certainly can't take it.

Second cheap shot of the night Dave, you're on a hat trick now...

That's rich considering what you've come out with.

Match ball Dave! Does H and V pay for it?

I don't hate him he is just a manager who is not good enough for the job he is being asked to do.

I suppose if theres a bit of points scoring going on in this thread, at least someone will be getting some points this weekend, because Lambert has got chuff all again.

One thing we can universally agree on, I would think, is that it's a bloody great mess right now.

I said before that I think Lambert deserves a medal the size of a dustbin lid for the job he has done at Villa and I stand by it even after todays game.

I say it based on the financial constraints we have as a club given the importance of balancing the books after two to three years of heavy losses.

I also look at the job Martinez and Rogers have done at their respective clubs and feel Lambert could do the same here once more solid foundations have been built.

This must be the biggest wind up ever.
l

I really don't agree with this at all. However, as this is a website for opinions, and he is a fellow Villa fan, I choose not to ridicule or tell him he's got it wrong. Perhaps others on here should take note!  Lambert out!!

Richard, what point are you trying to prove when telling people you knew all along this how it would end up? None of us really know how things are going to turn out, and if you end up being right or wrong it still doesn't mean you knew it all along. Right now, I don't see any value in scoring points. We should all be in this together, and for the first time most people on here are of the same opinion. It's not a good day.
TV you are the only one trying to score points and start on people tonight.

It's a normal night then.

Blimey, I figured it wouldn't be too long before you stepped in. I fully expect within a post or two for you to advise me that my posts aren't relevant because I don't go to the games. I know you want to.

You know very well that it is yourself who waits in the wings to have a go at other posters, backed up by a couple of others who have yet to arrive tonight. You are not a moderator but seem to act as if you are. Why is that?

Yeah, perspective and all that. I hate him. This is a football chat room, McNeil is the only manager who I hate more.

I still quite like him, for some reason I can't quite fathom.

I just don't want him managing my football club beyond this summer.

It's in danger of getting more embarrassing than what's happened on the pitch in the last 3 weeks.

With that in mind it's probably time to put the handbags away

I don't. Not even close. You give off an air of arrogance because you go to games. You've made a number of comments recently that are just throw away yet delivered in a manner suggesting "I know something you lot don't". Why is that?

It reminds me of the Savo game at Ewood where we got thumped 5-0. Some people were fightig amongst themselves and somebody even started on Jesus Dave.

Bad times.

You are soooo right Colin. By the way how are you getting on with the Club in negotiating the contract extension for Paul?
