I just don't get why the numbers at the top are so screwed to keeping him. Please, someone, tell me how he could be doing any worse than he is. How can anyone still want him here. U were all so quick to nail into big eck, be careful what you wish for...

Lee B was telling me on here only last week how all his friends are happy with Lambert so perhaps he could find out from them and let us know?

With respect Richard, that's about the third post on this thread so far where you seem to be revelling in fact you lost faith quicker than others.

I had you down as better than that.

I was thinking the same thing. Nobody should be happy that this is happening and everyone should have wanted him to succeed. You'd think that those of us that might have had a different approach are somewhat embarrassed by our position. I'm not, I'm just massively disappointed.
For balance there a fair few posters who have been taking delight in telling the Lambert out's how wrong they are,and they tend to hunt in packs.

Hunt in packs? Don't talk toss.

I think his time has come, and I'm pig sick about it, but not because I was fucking wrong.

It's because it means we're fucked.
'Don't talk toss, you have just proved my point.

can you show me who has taken "delight" at telling the Lambert Out posters how wrong they are? Because with all due respect I think you are wrong. Nobody that I know stuck it in anyone's face when we had good results. Nobody said "I told you so". Rather, most took it as a positive step, but at no point was it considered that everything was rosy and fixed.
It's easy enough to find, just go to any Lambert thread.

If you are going use terms like taking delight then you better be able to prove it. It's made up nonsense otherwise.
Just like Lee B you have proved the point as well.See what I mean about hunting in packs.

Mates, without offence,  when I read on this forum posters that still defend or search alibis for Lambert, I wonder if I live in another planet.

What else should the man do to be sacked more than conceding 6 points to the worst Premier League team (Fulham), losing at home with Stoke, etc., etc.?

Does he have to kill someone at Bodymoor Heath?

Even if he did kill someone there would be people who saw it as a sign of progress.

With reference to the question of why the poll is so skewed to keeping him, my guess is it's to do with when the poll was taken. If it was re-set now I'm sure we'd see a completely different result - my vote for one would change

Mine already has, so I'm probably fickle.

This is a bit dramatic.
But I agree something has to be done.
We could start with why our players are under achieving.

I do not subscribe to the view that as long as we are not bottom 3 no problem.
But I would rather get an independent assessment and if I were Randy Lerner that is the way I would be going.

So when you backed up Richard were you also hunting in packs? So what you're saying is any time two posters have the same or similar view it is a pack? Again, utter nonsense.

I realise it's difficult for those who were backing him right up to last week to admit they were wrong. I empathise with you as I thought he was the right man when we took him on and so I was wrong too. I just realised it ages ago. Those who didn't have taken great delight in telling us all to 'man up' or 'grow a pair' or some such other language over the last few weeks. They seemed to be revelling in the fact that they thought we were wrong. And if you Toronto, think I've revelled in it, then touche mate, I had you down as better than that. We can all be sanctimonious...
