As for Martinez he has done very well but without the loan players barry and lukaku everton would not be in the top 6 .

I don't see what the point of comments like this are.

Why would any body want Moyes as a failed manager at Manure and the deep scars that would inflict.

One of theproblems with Moyes is that he is a defensive manager, when he, the team is in trouble he gets more defensive more cautious, Ferguson was the opposite he was aggressive offensive.

Under stress people tend to revert to type and to their default status. A defensive cautious wounded Moyes is the last thing we need.
I agree with - and were Lambert to leave / get the bullet, I don't think we'd want another dour manager.

Moyes managed a similar sized club to villa at everton and kept them around the top 6 for a long period on less money than villa managers have spent  in the same time - he will soon get a job if sacked by man utd .

Would suit clubs the size of villa, newcastle or spurs , but out of his depth at united.
He got them grinding out results to keep them up the top end but look at the competition. He did have money and not all of it was spent that wisely. Surely the challenge is to get us punching above our weight, he did not achieve this at Everton

Lukaku banged in the goals for Albion last season and they finished top 8 , without him they have struggled badly , lets see how everton do next season without lukaku and without much money to spend on a quality striker .

Moyes isn't a perfect manager or a rubbish manager, he's just a decent but painfully limited one whose limitations are painfully exposed at the moment.

I always remember them finishing 4th that one season with a minus goal difference. Just looked it up to make sure I remembered it right and they were -1, with the same number of goals scored as bottom of the table Southampton (45).

In the time he was there they finished top 6 five times. In the same time we managed four. In a period we generally consider to be pretty crap and failure.

Moyes is a decent manager, nothing more imo.

He's good at making something from not very much, but sadly he also makes not very much from something.

He's a boring, charmless, gollum lookalike git and I'm pleased he's struggling at Disney FC. Fuck him and fuck them.

I'm guessing you either really hate him or you've just trod on an upturned plug.

He was referring to Moyes not Lambert.

Nor me. Martinez signed them and has got them playing well?

Exactly this, and just what sort of state he'll be left in after the Utd job is anyones guess. A year ago I'd have absolutely loved having him here. Now I'm not so sure. Utd has taken a lot out of him and it's made him look pretty bad too.
He may recover in his next gig, like Hughes at Stoke, who had a torrid time managing that Circus at Loftus Road but has done well at Stoke, a stable club at about his level.
I do think next up, Moyes could do with a gig even easier than ourselves. A club in/around our sort of position, but with less expectation that comes with it.

Oh right. I thought he was referring to us as Disney FC, telling the manager to fuck off and them to fuck off meaning us. ?. Thanks for clearing that up.

or maybe they'll go out and borrow another decent striker?

I don't see the problem, really. Those are the rules, and they have used them well.
