I still rate Lambert but a few of his team selections and formations/tactics this season have boggled my mind (I really dont know what his problem with Albrighton is but he needs to sort it and fast). He seems to me to be slipping into the O'Pubehead school of "Undroppables" and "Not in MY teamers".

I give you Jermaine Jenas. An average midfielder consistently injured throughout his career. We paid £2m to Spurs so they couldn't play him. Normally it cost them money.

Not really a legitimate comparision for a number of reasons. Poyet, for example, has picked up more points since he took charge of Sunderland than a lot of the other managers on that list. Hardly his fault he inherited them when they had picked up one point from their first seven games. Let's not forget the great job that their last British manager was doing shall we?
Mel and Solskjær have only been at their respective clubs for a month or so. Magath has only been at Fulham for one game. All three have walked into a complete mess and haven't had the luxury of a pre-season or summer window as people like Hughton and Lambert have.

Sunderland's previous manager was Di Canio. Fulham were managed by Jol and than       Meulensteen  . Solskjaer has quickly moved Cardiff from 16th to 19th. Mel P has taken a team from about 14th into the bottom 3.

The annoying / frustrating thing is how bad we have been this season, we're still in 11th. There is a lot of dross / much of a muchness in the lower part of the division.

A couple of favourable results and we'd easily be 9th, maybe 8th.
