It won't guarantee his job if the owner plans to sell.   He will on the front seat beside the driver of the double decker they will need to shift all the dross out of Villa Park.

There should be some sort of performance clause in the contract... i doubt we are that bright though.

I still rate Lambert but a few of his team selections and formations/tactics this season have boggled my mind (I really dont know what his problem with Albrighton is but he needs to sort it and fast). He seems to me to be slipping into the O'Pubehead school of "Undroppables" and "Not in MY teamers".

I give you Jermaine Jenas. An average midfielder consistently injured throughout his career. We paid £2m to Spurs so they couldn't play him. Normally it cost them money.

Can somebody explain which fucking muppet(s) agreed to that, assuming TSM requested the loan.

The same muppets who apologized to the FAI for being beastly and suggesting that Dunne should not have played with an injury risk for the national team.   It all worked out okay though because we picked up all the medical bills and paid his wages so that he could go to Arry in pristine condition.

W must be the worst run club in the Premier League over the past six or seven years?

Amateurs. That is the single word I would use to describe the clubs hierarchy. And that is the kindest thing I can say about them.

What a ridiculous comparison .

agree
How is it ridiculous? It's factual at the moment.

We have been badly run that's for sure.

And the same muppets who capitulated to O'Neill's claims for constructive dismissal without ever uttering one word of defence of the club or criticism of a manager who behaved (in my opinion of course) abominably.   Shameful and spineless are the two first words which come to mind.

And thereby giving O'Neill and his Media Friends and Apologist more ammo to shoot back at us as it has spiralled downwards ever since - making it look like life was a bed of roses under him

Not really a legitimate comparision for a number of reasons. Poyet, for example, has picked up more points since he took charge of Sunderland than a lot of the other managers on that list. Hardly his fault he inherited them when they had picked up one point from their first seven games. Let's not forget the great job that their last British manager was doing shall we?
Mel and Solskjær have only been at their respective clubs for a month or so. Magath has only been at Fulham for one game. All three have walked into a complete mess and haven't had the luxury of a pre-season or summer window as people like Hughton and Lambert have.
Sunderland's previous manager was Di Canio. Fulham were managed by Jol and than       Meulensteen  . Solskjaer has quickly moved Cardiff from 16th to 19th. Mel P has taken a team from about 14th into the bottom 3.

The annoying / frustrating thing is how bad we have been this season, we're still in 11th. There is a lot of dross / much of a muchness in the lower part of the division.

A couple of favourable results and we'd easily be 9th, maybe 8th.
