It's quite a run of games to finish the season!
It’s in our own hands it’s all in our own hands.

5.30 means more drinking time before the game. Always a good thing.

You reckon? I think it means less people, shit atmosphere, no singing. Surprised you like that.

Bolton vs Villa Saturday March 17th now a 5.30pm kick off.
And, St Patrick’s Day so - for some - a further reason to visit hostelries en route to the ground.

In that case midnight kick offs would be better for some people.

17:30 kick offs at Villa Park have cracking atmosphere's.

Away games are away games. We make a racket wherever.

I don't know why he thinks it means less "people" either. Forest sold out for a 5.30 as did Bristol for a Friday night. Barnsley and Preston didn't admittedly but they both have away allocations of 5,000.

Away games on the TV do put people off going if they know they can save money and watch it I suppose although it should still sell out even if it hardly matters if it doesn't.

Bristol City didn't sell out.

5.30 is just an odd time for a game to me. Suppose it's better than being on a Sunday. Not sure if us playing after the rest of the league, as we will be doing in four successive games from Wolves onwards, will be an advantage or a disadvantage.

Televised away games put SOME people off. As we are selling out everywhere, there is always someone to take the place of a fan who decides to stay at home and watch it on TV. Sheffield United the other week saw several fans returning/selling their tickets once Sky announced that they were showing the match. However, many more stepped up to buy these tickets and we still sold out.

An extra two and a half hours in the Compleat Angler. And 10 quid each way on the train for us London Lions. Nice.
