Yesterday summed up the Sky attitude to us. Delay in the Chav/Arse game so make the West Ham/QPR game wait to KO until Sky are ready. If that isn't too much power over the game I don't know what is.

I don't see what the problem is with delaying a kick off in these circumstances

I do.

Guess it's ok if you're curled up on the sofa , slippers on in front of a roaring fire.

It's not OK if you're a professional footballer who has timed their warm-up to perfection or a fan at the ground.

Out of interest, would the ref in the West Ham game have been within his rights to start the game at the time it was supposed to?

Highly unlikely.

When I looked at the fixtures for Sunday, at lunchtime, the West Ham game was already at 4:20, and that was before the delay in the Chelsea game. It was because there were three live games that day.

Fuck off SKY might be more appropriate.

Shitty zombies. Will they refund my train ticket cost for 6th?!
Why would you expect 'them' to ?

No need to be arsey with me, I know neither Sky nor Richard Scudamore will be writing me a personal letter saying how sorry they are for messing up my plans along with thousands of others, just annoying is all.

Yes, if he never wanted to ref a Premier League game ever again.

Why should the players and fans have to wait for Sky to be ready? Oh yeah, the TV audience is more important.

I don't agree with the decision, as it could have ruined plans for travel etc., but it's not as if the fans would have all been in the stand waiting, it was announced a good 3 hours ahead of time, and you presume most people at the ground have travelled locally from London.  Games have been postponed closer to KO in the past.

That said, it does highlight the regard that the powers that be hold the match-going public in.

It's not one of the BT games announced for December
