Despite losing 2-0 I don't think we've been as clueless as we usually are. We still never look like creating a goalscoring chance despite having numerous chances to put a decent ball in the box, it's just get it in and hope for the best. Gabby and Benteke may as well not be up there, not only do they get poor, desperate service, they get no support from anybody.

The lack of confidence of our midfielders is the main weakness. Hopefully KEA will be sitting in the crowd second half.

FFS get Gary Neville down to BH for a week and get our defence coached. Even I could see what we were doing wrong so why can't our coaching staff?

Lowton's mistake was very basic for that first goal. Very basic

Delph's was even worse.

It's a very similar pattern to the two goals v Manu U

We're so passive as a side I think. It's just not at all what got us into good form last these

Time for benefits street I think

7 goals in 10 home games

and we need 3 against these in 45mins

Can we?

Check the odds.

We all have plenty to say about Villa, me as much as the next fan but the bare unvarnished truth which stares us in the face game after game is that our players are not good enough and our manager is not good enough.
We're improving according t Paul Faulkner
I wonder how he views his 'product'?

I equate this to taking on water in a wooden boat. You can only scoop the water out for so long before the wood rots and the bottom falls through. At what point does our bottom fall through?

Sigh. Depressing. The usual excuses from the manager and the usual glee at our loss from the media.

Fuck we are shit.

Just like the Spurs home game last season. Holding at bay easily enough with 5-3-2, Baker gets fucking injured and we fall to bits.

Sack the fucker tonight, I have had the fuck enough of Villa losing games at home. No fucking pride. Fuck bollock fuck shit crap ****** wank shite bollocks grrr.

Gary Neville can spot our flaws easily.  Do we have anyone that analyses videos of our matches and figures out what we're doing wrong, or even have people in the stands?

Or our the players simply not good or switched-on enough to execute plans?

I know a few season ticket holders who couldnt be bothered to go tonight

even against Arsenal , you would expect them to go  but they have had enough .

Faulkner you might have trouble selling season tickets next season.

I can accept us being down to arsenal at home.  I can't accept a complete lack of fight and cohesion into the bargain.

I'm used to it by now - so sad to see the club in this state on the playing side.

Someone please try and convince me that this isn't worse than under McLeish. Because I'm bloody struggling. Absolutely staggered Lambert isn't under unbearable pressure.

Don't worry,  faulkner thinks we have made real progress this season .
I'm surprised to hear such negativity on here as many were saying we were safe in 11th and that Spam and Sunderland were worse than us and  PL was flavour of the month 2 weeks ago.

I certainly wasn't.
Sorry, I wasn't accusing you. Was just saying what a difference a week or 2 makes to peoples opinions and how quickly they change with a lucky result.

We're still 11th. Spam and Sunderland are still worse than us.

And Lambert wasn't 'flavour of the month' at all.

Stop fishing to wind people up.
