4-5-1 now with Weimann right

Which might give us more of a chance. Still, they don't practice pass-and-move in training really so we'll still probably be hoofily rubbish.

I noticed when we scored the players ran straight past the manager to the bench, don't think everythings rosie there.

Would be interesting if someone near the scene could tell us they ran to on the post match thread.

The problem isn't that they don't think they can attack, the problem is that they have no patience and try to attack right at the goal every time they get the ball - a position compounded by 4-4-2 because 4-4-2 is a counter-attacking formation, not a front-foot formation.

Not true, it completely depends on the type of players you have playing and how you instruct them.

England played 4-4-2 in the Euros a couple of summers ago and were painfully neutral/defensive.

Yes was some booing
Lack of funds issue not a worthy argument against Swansea and especially Palace. It's poor purchases and poor tactics

Spot on +  poor management
Only one person to blame and that us Randy, is he there today ?

The first two were unknowns and Laudrup was a great player but little pedigree as a manager.

Of course not.  Would you go and watch this when you could be skiing in Vermont?

Mixed feelings about this half. If we sneak a win here somehow is it just papering over the cracks? Sounds crazy but are we better off getting battered and forcing Lerner to make a change?

The change could be replacing Lambert or freeing up funds and wages.

They are so easy on the eye to watch Swansea. Lovely football to watch.

Anyone got a rough idea how much this Swansea side cost to put together ?

About £28m quid.

So their side cost less than ours - that's what a good management structure does for you.

pardews spent less that lambert in the last 18mths

Yes. That's what I'm saying - it's a defend and counter formation at best, and if you try to use it to play proper football on the front foot then it will fail.
