Only one person to blame and that us Randy, is he there today ?

He's gone in today to empty the takings from the one-armed bandit in the Holte Hotel.

Their last corner again showed why it is not good to have all eleven players back, why not leave Gabby on the half way line ???

Our average time spent in possession must be about 2 seconds. It's shocking.

First attack since the 15th min or something, Weimann hoofs it for a goal kick.

I was once a massive fan of Lerner but I have to say I'm rapidly losing patience with him. Is it enough for Villa to merely exist or should we be trying to compete?

Since one month I have reached the same conclusion.

I think it doesn't help that there isn't any decent communication from the club other than the awful official site. It creates a feeling of detachment. But yeah sorry to hear you feel the same Archie. Hopefully we can see Villa restored one day

Again no. England weren't counter attacking.

Man United have won championships with a 4-4-2 and didn't counter attack.

Firstly, counter-attacking is inherent in being actively defensive. It's the other side of the coin and the reason it exists. England weren't counter-attacking because they didn't mean to be defensive, but because this formation, executed rigidly, cannot compete on the front foot in modern football.

Secondly, United last played real 4-4-2 in the year 2000 and Ferguson brought in Queiroz to stop it (in fact, Ferguson claims to have never actually played 4-4-2, but to have ini fact invented 4-2-3-1). Also, of course they counter-attacked, they were famous for it, but not in 4-4-2 and not for whole games.

If Swansea don't win this they should be ashamed of themselves. We're fucking atrocious.
