Great stuff, well done PF and the club.
Was I the only one who noticed it was completely royal blue at night from the time it opened? I am delighted that it is claret & blue for a fortnight AND linked with an educational project, but noses really don't have to get in a tizz about this. They really have more important things to worry about.

No they don't. There is nothing in their lives more important than moaning that Villa have got something they haven't.

Some of them know our history better than our fans do.

Of course they do, they learnt about our honour's from their club diary a couple of seasons back. Another comic episode in their history

I can't help thinking the blue is the wrong shade.

"Half the city has been alienated". Are they on crack? They draw support from a corridor on the A45 about the size of Blackburn, the Mickey Mouse dreamers.

Reading through the outraged of Shirley comments, it never ceases to amuse me when I hear or read the line "we carry the name of the city!".

Quite, as if the city's name were bestowed upon them with great ceremony by the Lord Mayor himself at the Town Hall, rather than them merely riding the coattails.

Was that not despite an agreement for none of the clubs to do so... so when they crow we have the name of the city it is as hollow as their support due to it being based on being a shitty little club acting under hand in the first place.

The gentlemans agreement is a myth. We have never as a club paid much attention to them. See our rejection to the offer to provide players for a Birmingham team in the Fairs Cup.

I would imagine Villa paid for the lighting. The council has not got a pot.

Aston didn't become part of Birmingham until 1908, by which time Aston Villa was the most famous name in world football, anyway, so why on earth do they think we'd have wanted to change our name?

They really are a bunch of pitiful witless gibbons.
