There is an open goal of a joke linking the atmosphere at Villa and libraries but I can't be bothered thinking up our rivals satirical quips for them.
Rivals?  For What?

They're streets ahead of us in "The Race For Administration - 2013/14."

That thread is really funny.

I just read it and think it may have the opposite of the desired effect. It could alienate up to, oh I dunno, 12,000 people.

All Blues fans should boycott books

The latter one followed by the response "What, maintain the status quo?"

Or "What's a book?"

There's quite some moaning there.

They really are fucking morons.

The council should have built it in Sherlock St, that lot would never know what colour it was.

Odd line from that story on the OS.

The latest figures show the city is the most popular option for Britons staying in the UK - and the fastest growing anywhere in the world, ahead of Sydney, Dublin and Manchester.

Hmm.

Isn't that a bit like saying "Yeah, man, she's beautiful, she's better looking than Megan Fox, Monica Bellucci and Sonia from Eastenders"

See I judge that to be a subtle dig at Manchester more than anything.

Was I the only one who noticed it was completely royal blue at night from the time it opened? I am delighted that it is claret & blue for a fortnight AND linked with an educational project, but noses really don't have to get in a tizz about this. They really have more important things to worry about.

No they don't. There is nothing in their lives more important than moaning that Villa have got something they haven't.

To them, nothing is more important than us.

Some of them know our history better than our fans do.

This is the sort of thing that makes me optimistic for the future. It's the type of bright idea we had when Randy first arrived and hadn't seen much of for a couple of years. Whoever thought of it deserves a bonus.

I like his bit as well -

"... Villa Chief Executive Paul Faulkner, who is also a Trustee of the Library of Birmingham Trust ..."

So do I, and that's what my post was supposed to be, too.
